Amarena cake
A mouth-watering cake based on our Damco rustic cakemix, enriched with amarena cherries and finished with Souplesse blueberry!

Ingredients cake:
1.000 gr
Damco rustic cakemix
550 gr
Water
500 gr
Whole egg
20 gr
Damco cold binding agent
25 gr
Lemon raspel
400 gr
Amarena cherries, halved
Decoration:
400 gr
Souplesse blueberry

Instructions:
- Melt the butter in the microwave until a maximum of 40°C.
- Mix the Damco cakemix warm method, egg and Cointreau for 2 minutes in the 2nd gear.
- Next, add the melted butter and mix for 2 minutes in the 1st gear.
- Wash the Amarena cherries with water and let all the excess water drip off.
- Cut the cherries into eights and mix them through the cake batter.
- Devide the cake batter between small baking pans (450g) and bake.
- After the cakes have cooled down, dip them in Souplesse blueberry and add decoration.
