Sustainability

Sustainability is very important at Royal Steensma. Many sustainability aspects are therefore included in the daily routine, even without being immediately aware of it. Royal Steensma took the step to start working with different Sustainable Development Goals. In that way, we look at what is currently being performed in a sustainable manner, but also at what can still be done. Research has been done into the current and desired situation, from which six Sustainable Development Goals have emerged to which Royal Steensma can contribute.

Royal Steensma will work on four main goals and two sub-goals. The main goals are goals on which Royal Steensma will mainly focus; these are the goals where a greater impact can be achieved. With the sub-goals, Royal Steensma can also influence the situation, even though this will not be fully in the manner that the United Nations originally intended. However, these goals are of such importance that we have chosen to include them.

• 3 - Good health and well-being
• 5 - Gender equality
