Amarena cake

A mouth-watering cake based on our Damco rustic cakemix, enriched with amarena cherries and finished with Souplesse blueberry!

Ingredients

Ingredients cake:

1.000 gr Damco rustic cakemix
550 gr Water
500 gr Whole egg
20 gr Damco cold binding agent
25 gr Lemon raspel
400 gr Amarena cherries, halved

Decoration:

400 gr Souplesse blueberry

Instructions:

  1. Melt the butter in the microwave until a maximum of 40°C.
  2. Mix the Damco cakemix warm method, egg and Cointreau for 2 minutes in the 2nd gear.
  3. Next, add the melted butter and mix for 2 minutes in the 1st gear.
  4. Wash the Amarena cherries with water and let all the excess water drip off.
  5. Cut the cherries into eights and mix them through the cake batter.
  6. Devide the cake batter between small baking pans (450g) and bake.
  7. After the cakes have cooled down, dip them in Souplesse blueberry and add decoration.
